Christmas Eve

A very Happy Christmas to you all, and a happy and healthy New Year xxx

I've just got one more Christmas card I want to share with you, which I created yesterday for a special friend:

I used the beautiful Graphic 45 Twelve Days of Christmas for this card.  This is a large card, measuring 8" x 6".

The topper is from a die-cut topper sheet and I used the largest one there.

Two Prima resin treasures on the front:

I'll add some more details of what I used later. Right now I have a Christmas dinner to cook :) Have a great time. Stay safe!!

A litle christmas inspiration

Hello girls

I had to make a project for Copic Marker Norge as one of their DT. We have a advent calendar on the blog.

I wanted to make a card using Lou`s template for a stall card, love that template for making small scenes.
I also wanted to use one of my all time favorite digis from Lou, this christmas pixie is stunning and I have used her several times.

I live in North Norway and we have "mørketid" here now. The sun is gone for about two months,so it is quite dark here. So I needed to make something that kind of gave light....

I had a vision of a winter scene in white and differnt shades of blue.

No more said, here is a couple of images of my card. Hope you like it.

I`ve been using different Marianne dies and a couple others, some stuff from my stash and so on. I had a blast making this card and it is easy to make, even tough it seem difficult.
Just follow Lou`s class HERE

So I hope you enjoy these last days towards christmas.

Sweet Sentiments....

Good morning weekend :) Hope you have woken up to good weather and good vibes :)

We recived two new collections from Graphic 45: Couture and Sweet Sentiment, last week, and I fell in love with the colours in the Sweet Sentiment range. I had to make a birthday card for a dear friend who has recently suffered a horrendous loss, and didn't want it to be too jolly and cheerful. The mellow and gentle hues of the "Violet Bouquet" paper was perfect for the job. I decided to use a "Silver Fairy" die-cut topper as my centrepiece. These are fabulous and already coloured in, so ready to go, we have lots more HERE.

The turned-down corner is a very simple but effective technique that I have been using for donkeys years. It's lovely with double-sided papers as you simply turn the paper down and fasten it. Put a piece of the main paper at the back of the now exposed corner.

A coordinating inside, using the same paper, as you can see I used the reverse side to cut strips for both front and inside.  I used Spellbinder dies inside, and the larger die for matting my image on the front:

I had some berries and used them with "Wedding Day" Roses and sprigs cut from a Spellbinders D-Lites "Sprigs" die. A Prima pin was tucked in there too. The corner is a mixture of pearls and crystals.

Thank you for visiting the Charmed corner. Have a great weekend xxx

Just a litle early christmas inspiration

Maybe you think it is to early for christmas cards... I don`t think so... I been making 4 cards each month this year and are still going on.  We have challenge in a private forum, so that`s why  I making them. And belive me, when christmas is arriving I am more than happy for being so "clever".. it is the only way I can make enough cards.

Well I have to admit that I am not into christmas every month, but for september I suddenly remembered this cuties from an earlier collection. So I made these:

These cards are 5x5 inch and It is a great way to use old BoBunny christmas collections.
Just paper, images colored with copic, a star punch and some pearls and a text stamp, This one is a norwegian stamp.
And Voila.. you have 4 cards in no time. And if you don`t want to color them by yourself, they are pre- colored also, just print out. You can find this collection HERE.

Hope you got some inspiration :-)

SPOTLIGHT ON: The Avenues by Bo Bunny

The Avenues is a timeless collection of vintage elegance; it lends itself to a multitude of projects with its classic charm and warm pastel hues.  We take a look at some of the wonderful projects created by the fabulous Bo Bunny team using this collection.

Layout by Gabrielle Pollacco

Gabrielle cut out various elements from the 12x12 papers, such as the clock, shutters and doors, and added them to her layout:

Card by Romy Veul
Romy has a great tip to share: "Don't be afraid to layer embellishments! On the left part of my card I stapled a chipboard medallion onto a chipboard tag and also added a 3D banner sticker on top of it. By layering embellishments, you can turn one embellishment into a real eye-catcher."

Layout by Ilene Tell
Ilene has a super tip: "If you want to add a texture stamp somewhere on the layout, and have it fade out toward the center, simply add ink to the stamp and then use your finger to tap the edge and smudge the ink - as a result, you will get a "fade-out" effect."

Layout by Kaori Fujimoto

Mini Matchbook Album by Lisa Gregory

A beautiful matchbook labum by Lisa Gregory. Lisa says: This is a match book style mini album made from paper towel rolls. The paper towel rolls are the pockets and I created tags to slip into the pockets"

One of the The Avenues Trinkets makes a beautiful opener on the front:

Layout by Maryia Potapovich

Layout by Agnieszka Bellaidea

Card by Ulrika Wandler

Layout by Rhonda Van Ginkel

Rhonda has pierced a border around the top of the arch for a great accent:

Layout by Denise van Deventer

Layout by Amy Voorthuis

Layout by Kerry Babbitt

Beautiful inspiration there from the Bo Bunny team. If you have made anything using the The Avenues collection we would love to see it. Just link to your project either here or on our Facebook page and we will pop by and take a look.

Have a great day xx
