SPOTLIGHT ON: Autumn Song by Bo Bunny

Today I am turning the spot light onto the new Autumn Song collection by Bo Bunny. This is a classically beautiful collection, in the most stunning autumnal colours. The collection comprises an array of 12" x 12" double-sided papers, a 6" x 6" paper pad, plus a selection of embellishments and stickers.

The Bo Bunny design team have been very busy showcasing this stunning line. Here are a variety of projects that are bound to inspire you when working with Autumn Song:

Card by Romy Veul

Romy has a great tip for you: "I clustered together some of the tiny leaves from the Noteworthy package in the corners of the chipboard frame. To do so I gently removed the chipboard sunflowers (left below corner) from the frame and adhered the leaves in this corner. I then glued down the sunflowers on top of the leaves."

Layout by Gabrielle Pollacco
We love how Gabrielle has printed two sizes of the photgraph, one slightly larger than the other, and layered them. Great effect!

Layout by Bernii Miller

Bernii used watercolours on her layout, and she has this great tip to share with you: To help the water colour grip to the paper (without having to use water colour paper) I used a stencil and painted on some gesso. This really helps the water colour to sit on top of the paper and not seep through , which then tends to water down the colour.

Layout by Kaori Fujimoto

Kaori also used the new Bo Bunny 4x6 stamps on her layout. She has a great tip for you: I did the stamp in piles, without attaching ink, after applying the stamp first. A deep pattern, an overlap and a three dimensional effect is then achieved.

Layout by Lisa Novogrodski

Lisa has a great tip: Stamp on your flowers! Here I have used the Autumn Song Stamps to add some texture and a bit of grunge to my florals.

Just stunning! Please post a comment with a link to any project you have made with the Autumn Song collection, we would love to come and take a look.

Have a great day xx
