Land Girls at Work and Play

Yay! I'm really excited to announce yet another new download bundle! Louise must be on rocket fuel at the moment! Love love love this bundle, and it is so much fun to work with. I felt this bundle screamed for the iconic "Keep Calm" sentiments, so created 15 to go with the bundle.  Lou drew seven beautiful images, plus she replicated "that" iconic WWII  Times Square Kiss for you. It so belongs with this collection :) I have been busy creating example cards and will show you the first three today, with the remaining five to follow over the weekend.

First card uses an image from the Land Girls bundle - a variety of papers from Basic Grey, Prima and K&Co, Pearls, Prima flowers, Chipboard is from the Basic Grey Serenade chipboard pack. Ivy corners are cut from a Marianne Design Die (Ivy and Petra's Bridge (LR0276) )

I decorated the inside of the card too. I think it makes for a lovely quality card. Shapes cut with a Nestabilities Peony die set.

The next card uses another of the lovely images from the Land Girls bundle. I have used Graphic 45 Steampunk Spells paper here, along side Prima Zephyr paper. Prima vintage  "Beauty" 548889 metal trinket. Prima Mini Swirls - Liquid Pearls - Nestabilities Tear Drop Circles die set - Border cut with a Martha Stewart punch.

You can see I have cut out some of the flowers from the Graphic 45 paper for a 3-dimensional effect.

The image was cut out to sit inside the circle with the feet dangling over. Little foam pads were used to support the feet and the head.

Again the inside was decorated.

My last card today uses two images from the Land Girls bundle: "Times Square Kiss", and "Keep Calm and Celebrate". Also used here: Basic Grey Lauderdale Paper - Prima Jewel Pennant Swirl - Paper Doily - Roses - Prima Vintage Trinket(corner) - Pearls - Stickles on some of the wording.  I also cut out a heart in canvas to layer on the doily.

The inside was simply decorated with just a doily and a heart shape.

There you go, some inspiration for you for the new images :) Come back for some more tomorrow, where I will be showing you more cards using this wonderful bundle.
